Smoking Kills…

This can explain my views on smoking far better than I could articulate myself. I find it rather odd that an animated squirrel can voice an opinion that I cannot, however I bow to the mighty Foamy on this one.Giving up smoking should be a choice, not something you decide to do for any reason except ’stopping smoking’. If you start on that road with another reason than you’ll never make it. “I want to be healthy” isn’t “I want to stop smoking”, “It smells bad” isn’t “I want to stop smoking”. Only “I want to stop smoking” is “I want to stop smoking”. And this can’t continue onto “I want to stop smoking because…”; rationalising it breaks it down. If you want to stop, truly want to, then it’d be easy.

That’s my opinion. If you want to stop then you can? If you’re stopping for any other reason you’ll always end up tempted; because you still want to smoke and are just stopping yourself from doing it.
