Single-Lens Reflex; eBay sucks

Well, after being newly hooked on eBay I can honestly say It’s brought me a mix of good and bad experiences…
Well I’ve just procured my very own Canon 350D digital-SLR camera! This is good news, it means I can get back into my photography without the heavy financial burdens of film, processing, and/or a darkroom, chemicals and paper. It also means that I should be able to obtain some form of image for most of my blog posts. And hopefully will give me some motivation to post more. All I have for it at the moment is the 18-35mm (non-USM) lens that came with it.
On a more unpleasant note; the bad news. I also ‘bought’ a 2GB card from eBay for it, but as it turns out the seller was actually more interested in the cash, and unregistered from eBay right after he got it. So that’s £35 I’m not gonna see again *sigh*.
The idea was to get the camera (and card) ready for the trip to Spain with my wonderful girlfriend et al. So it seems I’ll have to borrow a card or two for a week and then I can have a good time taking some photographs of Spain and the like.
With money getting tight, I may start a dabble in eBay selling. Not sure what I can sell yet, but it seems the beauty of eBay is that some crazy person will want anything I have. We’ll see how much this fraud thing has put me off first.
